The Diploma in Operation Theatre Technology is a two-year graduate degree programme for which you must have completed 12th grade or an equivalent exam from a recognised school board. Interested individuals can enrol in the Diploma in Operation Theatre Technology programme after passing a suitable entrance exam and a subsequent round of counselling. The Diploma in Operation Theatre Technology is an Operations Theatre Technology curriculum at the Diploma level. This programme prepares candidates to work as a competent, dependable technologists in the operating room alongside other members of a healthcare team, under the supervision and guidance of senior doctors and technical personnel in the delivery of patient care. They learn how to use a variety of diagnostic equipment, such as ventilators, monitors, defibrillators, and C-arms, as well as patient evaluation skills. The knowledge and skills needed to monitor infection control policies and procedures in the operating room are also covered in training.
