The Certification in Operation Theatre Technologies is a two-year graduate degree program that requires completion of the 12th grade or an equivalent exam from a recognized school board. After completing a suitable admission exam and a subsequent round of counseling, interested persons can enroll in the Diploma in Operation Theatre Technology program. The Diploma in Operation Theatre Technology is a diploma-level Operations Theatre Technology program. This program trains applicants to work in the operating room as competent, dependable technicians with other members of a healthcare team, under the direction and guidance of senior doctors and technical personnel in the delivery of patient care. They learn how to use ventilators, monitors, defibrillators, and C-arms, as well as patient evaluation abilities. In addition, the training covers the knowledge and abilities required to manage infection control policies and procedures in the operating room.
